new sem
the new semester
ok, i know i've been so irregular in blogging. hence i dunnoe where to start. a bit too late to talk abt dec holidays or new yr resolutions ( as if i've drawn them out) ya!
i shall talk about my new semester! i am 1 and a half year more to graduating! not that i exactly look forward to it but i hope to leave my life of a poor student!hahaa!
this sem i'm taking 5 modules and guess what! school starts everyday at ten! i am having difficulty trying to sleep at night and waking up in the morning and of course the weather is not helping . but maybe God knows i need a more discipline lifestyle!haha!
ok back to the modules. i am enjoying very much so far:) i'm taking
1) chinese women in history. i always like this kind of gender stuff and the lecturer is good!
2) introduction to world religions. i really wanna find out more about all the religions so that it may even aid me in sharing the gospel. and of course the lecturer is a motivation to go to class. he is not yr typical handsome guy but quite a charismatic guy! * beams*
3) race and ethnic relation. it's quite a disappointment when the lecturer turn out to be another old professor..haha! but i'm learning much more about race and relations. there's even a point about darwin's natural selection. even that have to do with race!
4) anthropology and the human condition. everyone was like "huh! you taking that? it's sounds so difficult!" hence i was kinda apprehensive and drag myself to class. but thank God it's really great! it's what i like! culture and people! the two lecturers done their field work in congo and thailand among the muslim thais! they also promise videos every week! i can't wait to see all of them! and i'm starting to read a book entitled " The Dobe Ju? Haonsi" . it's about a community that lives in the dry grasslands of southern africa!
so that left with only one module and a not so interesting one-power relations. i'm only staying on because mr lecturer promise deep insights into the civil and political sphere of europe and asia. he better!
so i guess i will survive with 4 modules i like. i'm keeping my fingers cross that it will only get better!:)
p\s i'm cosidering to make blogging regularly my resolution. but i nv keep up to resolutions anyway! hee...:)
