Curriculum Matter

finally NUS is doing away with the first half of the sem each week is 5 days and after the break it will be a 4 days week. it calls for celebrations because
1. it makes the already confuse students less confuse
2.students can no longer use that as an excuse for missing tutorials
3. which in my opinion is good because even if u genuinely got confuse by such a schedule, the tutor ain't really gonna believe u.
so the "break" ( notice the punctuation used?) gonna be a proper mon-fri but still it doesn't coincide with the mission trip date:(
Anyway i side track. i'm here to comment (and lament) on the modules.
firstly as a very confuse arts students since first day of year one, i sort of never really get all the information for the modules right. as a result, it's sort of messy now.but that i will figure it out. except poor nisha is constantly being required to enlighten me. and mind you, i ask her about the same questions every sem.
but i do want to applaud nus for giving us a reasonable amount of subjects to choose from. the learning is basically enjoyable though i should not comment bout the exams.
but a problem also exist here..why do i have to take some science module?!
can anyone blame me for not getting excited at topics like "Einstein's Universe & Quantum Weirdness" ,"The Four S's in the Molecular World " and "
Plants, Fungi and Human Society" ?? sorry to einstein's fans out there. but i find my fingernails more interesting than them!
what's more, the Prerequisites says " high sch education and interest in science". i have neither, can i skip?
argh!!
p/s if u have not skip a word and survive my rattling thus far, congrats! coz i reckon if u can survive my constant rattling,u can survive anything:) sorry folks! tis is the result of a frenzy undergrad who just spent 2 hours trying to figure out her modules with not much luck..
