When it comes to life plans and earning big money and all the stuff, i am very laid-back.
(picturing in my mind: Sylvest on a sofa! haha! he doesn't come here, so its ok! haha!)

While i do wish for a comfortable life, a nice home and 100 carat diamond, i am not seriously obsessed with that. It's like i won't sloth my life after it.

To some, it is pure laziness, a lack of foresight and all the evil that you can think of.

To me, if it wasn't for my family whom i wish they can have a slightly more comfortable life now that i'm working; and my friends whom i wish i can pay for them to go for tea, travelling, their school fees... or at the very least, i can pay for myself when we are out,
i don't know why i need the money for.

and if you are talking about job satisfaction, then i think i don't mind being a retailer.

SIA having recruitment, apparently their monthly salary is along the line of 3500. I gave it a thought.
other than my not pretty enough face, i was wondering what good it is if i get to travel the world but not with my family, my love nor my friends.

I constanly find myself living in my never never land, where life is about love and fun.

But yes i know, if it wasn't for work, fun would not be fun.

God must have known, so he put people around me who are full of foresight, full of plans and down to earth.

Our james and vin: Who always count my dollar and cents.
My family: who are always thinking of ways for me to be a better worker. My motivation for working.
Our fervour boys: Who are full of plans for their lives.
Our friend: Who allow me to buy my diamond when i deserve it and the same one who forbid me from taking cab when unecessary. Whose zeal in planning and carrying out his plans, influences me. whom together we're working towards two big Ms. haha!
My dorc: Who do nothing to stop me from spending more money, but who tell me the best deals. and the companion of my dreamy life, and a great motivation for me to earn money:)


P/S i just wanna say a big thank you to ah boon for fetching me from the airport to work!
yes, so you see i did went to the airport to send my dearest baby sister and jack off.
9 days! no big deal! haha! (ok the last phrase is for my sake) :)

The Road to Healing

For most part of my life that I have cognition, I live with the fear of death. Not my death but death of loved ones. It has been so long, I have more or less just resigned to living with it.  I had vague memory that even as a child, I would cry thinking about the death of my parents. I would go to their bedside and cry while they were sleeping. Now that I think about it, could it be some shows that I have watched because I do recall sobbing uncontrollably over the death of fictional characters in the drama. At the same time I was afraid of ghosts and spirits. I was healed as a youth during an encounter retreat. The facilitator asked me when did I start to be afraid of ghosts and spirits and I said it was attending my first Christian wake as a child when I viewed a dead body for the first time. The facilitator then led me in prayer and since that day, I am no longer afraid of such and was able to be alone in the night.  But still the fear of death of loved ones did not leave me...

To be or not to be feminist?

During Tuesday life group, a recently married young lady mentioned that she is somewhat of a feminist and struggles with the issue of submitting to her husband.  The issue is a complicated one. Firstly, the discourse on feminism is dynamic and many a time laced with emotions. Secondly, the idea of biblical submission is probably not studied or misunderstood. Lastly, one may not really be a feminist or had a submission issue, the root lies somewhere else.  Interestingly, I had on a few occasions been described as a submissive wife although I do not want to probe on the definitions by the people who paid me the compliment/criticism. What they do not know is if they had met the undergraduate me, they would probably think otherwise. The excitement of undergraduate life, the newfound independence and arts education had thrown me into a period of questioning, tears and anger.
