On Turning 23
I don't have all the complete pictures to put up!
*hint*hint*hint*uncle vintage!*
Well, turning 23 doesn't feels much different from being 22 i guess. While some of our boys are so secretive bout their age and minding the few months of difference, i am trying to grow old gracefully! haha!
We all worship youth and it's good to be young and pretty and agile. But since i cannot remain young all my life, i've decided to embrace the different phases of my life that i am going through.
While it's good to be young, there's perks to being old. More freedom, able to deal with storms better and nitty gritty things that gets me in the past doesn't anymore.
So if you asked me, i'll tell you i'm 23. And if more wrinkles gonna appear, if i pant crossing the bridge, i'll just accept that:)
But for now, i am still enjoying my life, i am not at all into the "now i'm 23, i need to move on from here, i need to settle down kinda of thing". I am 23 and I know God has wonderful things in store that goes beyond just the typical marriage, career and investment kinda thing. In terms of ministry, i don't feel old for the songs, for the hype, for the games or for the people. I'll be where there's life and lives changing and transforming, anytime:)
I am thankful to God for the plans he have for my life. For the love He showered me Himself and through other people. For every single sms that comes in, for every presents, for every hour spent preparing and being with me, i am indeed very bless:)
p/s if i can have only 1 wish this birthday, i would be asking for good health for me and my love ones, that my gastric and my intestinal system stop giving me problems.
If i can have 2 wishes, i'll ask for money for holidays.
If i can have 3 wishes, i'll ask for a good job.
And if i can have 4 wishes, i'll ask for a coach bag.
If i can have many many many wishes, i'll ask for health, happiness, money, clothes, big houses, big cars.....and if i run out of wishes, i'll ask for world peace!
