CNY 2010:)

Few days back I was at NTUC Extra at AMK at close to 11pm and it was still bustling with life! Proof? There was no trolleys available and once the trolleys are replaced, everyone eagerly go for it!

I love CNY! It's noisy, it's bustling, it's crowded!
It is as if everyone gets busy for this day!
I like it that everyone comes home, obligated to come home, all the shops are close, and you take weeks to prepare. I just love the whole festive feel that comes with it!
Christmas comes close to that feeling but Christmas has a tinge of commercialization, unlike cny.

I love the gatherings, the staying up late and the food and how everyone is in a merry mood!:)
I love to know that everyone is somewhere celebrating with someone, chatting, eating, making lots of noise and laughter:)

And it is a festival that is of our own. Yes yes, technically it originates from China but we dun really celebrate the same way here, do we? In any case, we look more like them than the caucasians.
And if you are someone who seriously detest cny because it's 'chi-na' and all the works, I say you actually just have an insecure identity.

For the rest of you like me, do drop by anytime:)
You know how it is with our house and the amount of food we have:)

Happy New Year Folks!:)
