maybe its an age thing. maybe i've been too bless. All my life (thus far that is) , i have never really know what is a crisis, what's pain, what a life changing experience is ( like when you write your secondary school compo "An event that change my life") .

But if only things stay the way it is huh.

I was just reading the Sunday paper; yes, I know it’s already Monday. It’s just that Sunday paper is my favourite and I have to return to it if I missed it. Anyway I digress. There was this article about woman usually control the purse string and it is also usually more effective. Well, I guess it is not going to happen to my household. For one, numbers and I just don’t seem to fit. James can vouch for how I sat outside the toilet and cried late into the night during mission trip because I just couldn’t figure how Thai baht works as I cannot count beyond 4 digits. Caesar can be the second person to vouch. He was telling me about how if you have 3million (or was it billion? one of the llion), you don’t have to work. I couldn’t help but asked him if 3million is a lot of money. And when he said yes, I still couldn’t figure. So I gotta ask, how many cars can we buy with 3million? The Road to Healing

For most part of my life that I have cognition, I live with the fear of death. Not my death but death of loved ones. It has been so long, I have more or less just resigned to living with it.  I had vague memory that even as a child, I would cry thinking about the death of my parents. I would go to their bedside and cry while they were sleeping. Now that I think about it, could it be some shows that I have watched because I do recall sobbing uncontrollably over the death of fictional characters in the drama. At the same time I was afraid of ghosts and spirits. I was healed as a youth during an encounter retreat. The facilitator asked me when did I start to be afraid of ghosts and spirits and I said it was attending my first Christian wake as a child when I viewed a dead body for the first time. The facilitator then led me in prayer and since that day, I am no longer afraid of such and was able to be alone in the night.  But still the fear of death of loved ones did not leave me...

The Best of Summer 09' :)

This holiday, I did not idle! I have proof. My only regret this holiday was that our schedule did not allow for an overseas trip. But oh well, at least I had good food and good company:) Proof? Of course:) We love Korea BBQ. But nothing can beat Jap food! There is no such thing as a previous life. If not, I must have been an English who always have her tea...:) And then there was still a round 2:) And of course more food and supper:) And Finally.. All in all, I had a fruitful holiday:) And I am very thankful for that....:) p/s of course there are still many others like our Yew Tee point session which were not captured but clearly remembered...:)
